As I walk the icy edges of Kenai Lake this fall and winter , the underground water springs are showing up more because of several unusual conditions. The water table has been high so as it drops now that winter has set in , the underground water springs haven’t had a lot of time to drop to usual levels and they pop up like in this picture more noticeably . The warmer conditions at times have reduced ice and snow depth . Most winters of past would not be a passable
Today for Instance, our temperature is in the forty’s , more moisture maybe coming , but the big question is will it be in the form of rain or snow .
