It has taken a lifetime of living in a rural area in Alaska for me to develop my ability to spot a noteworthy picture and then to actually take that picture with some degree of skill . This time of year the sun only shines for maybe a hour of it’s clear out , it was past two o’clock in the afternoon and I waited for a hour for it to shine enough to reflect. The lake actually started freezing and the ice crystals on the right in this picture were moving into the picture as I took this shot.By the time I had taken several pictures, it was all over and it was now gone .
